We do not stock "cheap" dog food, we sell Premium dog food at sensible prices.

The production costs of complete dog food substantially reflect the quality of the ingredients used, but a huge proportion of the end price you pay for the top brands reflect retailer profit, advertising & marketing budgets, sponorship of dog shows etc.

Trusty dog foods are supplied to us direct by a manufacturer that supplies constituents of some of the best known complete dog foods, their products stand close comparison with these brands, but they keep the price reasonable by selling the product mainly through breeding & boarding kennels, greyhound trainers etc

We were introduced to Trusty by a customer who runs a respected local boarding kennel, they feed it to a huge variety of dogs in their care with impressive results.

Try it..if your dog doesn't like it we will buy the unused portion back....our dogs will gladly help us out!

Wheat Gluten Free Complete Dog Food with Inulin (19% Protein)

Formulated to meet the needs of dogs whose metabolism has changed, either with the normal ageing process, or through a medical intervention. By restricting the calorie and protein content it should (with careful rationing) help the dog lead a normal life without becoming obese.

Utilising only G.M. free cereals, the highest quality poultry meat, no added artificial preservatives, flavours or colours, this food is both easily digested and gentle on those organs that become less efficient with age. Inulin helps to ensure a healthy population of "friendly" gut bacteria to assist in the fermentative process, by which nutrients are freed from the diet. Ideal diet for working or sporting type dogs (Labrador, German Shepherd, Border Collie etc) with relatively low activity levels, and those that need to lose excess weight. Relatively low protein allows mixing with a little meat for "fussy feeders" or more active dogs.

The meat meal used contains Lamb, Beef and Chicken, providing a good spread of amino acids, the building blocks of muscle tissue.
